Monolite does not browse the web and does not use an external search engine: it answers only with what the school uploads — textbooks, handouts, lab materials — in .pdf, .doc, .docx, .txt and .md. You decide what enters an answer: the perimeter is bounded, not generically "protected", and it does not replace a teacher's own supervision.

In the on-premise configuration — when the model machine, too, stays physically inside the building, alongside the Orchestrator — Monolite keeps answering even when the outside network is down, because it works on your own archive and not on a remote service.
